Zoe Ball tribute to her tragic love

BBC presenter Zoe Ball has penned a poignant tribute to her boyfriend Billy Yates, an Antiques Roadshow cameraman who committed suicide earlier this year.

The daughter of former children’s TV presenter Johnny Ball writes online: ‘Six months today. No time at all, yet so, so long to be without you and your wondrous ways, your love, your gorgeous monkey face, your voice, your laughter... You are forever in our hearts & always in my pocket Snoops. Keep shining up there for us. Love you beautiful one.’

Zoe, 46, split from her husband Norman Cook, aka DJ Fatboy Slim, last year but the pair remain friends and live on the same seafront esplanade in Hove, East Sussex.
