I WON’T GET RELEGATED AGAIN, VOWS PICKFORD

-

JORDAN PICKFORD insists his dream move to Everton has not turned sour. The 23-year-old has shipped 20 Premier League goals after 10 games compared to 17 for relegated Sunderland at the same stage last season. Yet he has been the one success of Everton’s £150million summer spend and is in Gareth Southgate’s squad for England’s friendlies against Germany and Brazil. ‘We’re not a club that is going to be in the bottom three for long,’ said Pickford. ‘It’s a totally different scenario for me from last season. It’s too early, really (to start panicking). We have had a bad lot of games at the start.’
