Conservative whip quits

GOVERNMENT whip Chris Pincher resigned last night and reported himself to the police following allegations of sexual harassment.

The 48-year-old was yesterday accused of making an unwanted pass in 2001 at former Olympic rower Alex Story.

He was also accused of ‘touching up’ former Labour MP Tom Blenkinsop, who told him to ‘f***

off’. Mr Pincher is said to have tried to untuck Mr Story’s shirt and massaged his neck before changing into a bathrobe, leaving him looking ‘like a Poundshop Harvey Weinstein with his chest and belly sticking out’.

Mr Pincher said yesterday he did ‘not recognise the events’, and apologised for anything he said that may have offended Mr Story.
