It’s marmalade sandwiches at dawn!

BICKERING over a toy bear at the premiere of Paddington 2, Hugh Grant and Hugh Bonneville kept up the pretence of being enemies yesterday.

In fact, the pair (above) have much in common — from their Christian names and the fact they’ve appeared on screen

together before, in Notting Hill, to their private schooling and Oxbridge education.

Their private lives, however, could not be more different. While Grant, 57, has fathered four children during flings with two different women, Bonneville, 53, has been married for almost 20 years to Lulu Williams, with whom he has a son. Grant, of course, suffered the indignity of being arrested in a Los Angeles police vice operation in 1995.

It’s impossible to imagine Bonneville, who played the morally upright Earl of Grantham in Downton Abbey, involved in any such intrigue.
