SOCK BREAKS U.S. MASTERS DROUGHT

JACK SOCK beat Filip Krajinovic 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 yesterday to win the Paris Masters and qualify for the season-ending World Tour Finals. It was the 16th seed’s third title of the year and sends him through to next week’s finals in London for the first time. Sock is the first American winner of a Masters event since Andy Roddick in 2010.
