This typifies our home games against the smaller clubs this season, with the opposition sitting deep and hitting us on the break. The good news is that we found a way to nick it 1-0 but it was purely down to Gazzaniga’s fine performance.

Roy Hodgson has got Palace organised and hard to beat. It was a harsh result for us. We put in a good performance and had the better chances but came up against another good goalkeeping display. Zaha will be kicking himself he didn’t slot into an empty net but more games like this and we may just keep ourselves up.
