EAT more foods rich in potassium, such as avocados. This could help prevent heart disease, according to a recent University of Alabama study. Scientists gave mice various amounts of potassium, then analysed their arteries. Those fed a low-potassium diet had far more fatty deposits in their arteries than the mice eating a high-potassium diet.
