£7 COPYCAT FLIES OFF SHELVES
A COPYCAT version of a £295 Minnie Mouse handbag is boosting sales at Primark this Christmas.
The retailer has produced a £7 version of a luxury Kate Spade handbag so customers can get their designer fix without the eye-watering price tag.
Kate Spade’s Minnie Mouse backpack is made from real leather, and comes complete with the New York gold embossed signature. Primark’s version is made from faux leather and instead contains a Minnie Mouse signature. The retailer has been capitalising on novelty items and enjoyed strong sales of its Harry Potter themed clothing and accessories.
