Theresa steps out, strong and VERY stable as Madame Tussauds’ new girl

- Daily Mail Reporter

SHE has been accused of sometimes lacking warmth – but raising the temperature would be tricky for Theresa May in this situation.

For the Prime Minister was unveiled as the latest waxwork at Madame Tussauds yesterday. As befits her onetime favourite slogan, the figure depicted stepping out of No 10 is strong and stable.

It took sculptors four months to craft and is clad in a red power suit, the outfit she wore on the night of the June general election.

Mrs May also wore the bright ensemble for her first meeting with Donald Trump at the White House in January. A waxwork of the US President stands next to her in a display of world leaders.

Edward Fuller, general manager of Madame Tussauds London, said: ‘It’s clear the next few months aren’t going to be easy but while her policies may be questioned, we can guarantee our wax figure of the Prime Minister is most definitely strong and stable.’

Mrs May is the latest in a long line of British leaders depicted in wax at the tourist attraction since 1855.
