Duran Duran star girl’s sheer daring

DURAN DURAN star Nick Rhodes’s stunning Italian girlfriend, Maria Suvio, cut a dash at a London party this week in a transparent dress.

Suvio, who is 18 years younger than the 55year- old keyboard player, is a stylist. ‘I advise him to change if he needs to and let him borrow my mascara,’ she says. ‘He tells me what to wear, too. He will say: “Find a pair of shoes with an inch more heel.” ’

The couple met in the five-star Hotel de Russie in Rome. ‘Our eyes met across a crowded lobby,’ says Nick.

Businessman’s son Nick was married to U.S. heiress Julie Anne Friedman for eight years, but they divorced in 1992.
