It suits me, I’m keeping it

LAuren JAmes, 27, is engaged to ian, 45. They live in newport. she has three children, shane, six, Caden, seven, and rhian, 11, and works as a social media manager.

MY BEST friend is ginger, and she is stunning. At school she’d dye it all manner of colours, but now she maintains her natural look and turns heads wherever she goes. Mostly I’m fond of my hair. But it does get frizzy and brittle at the ends.

THE EXPERT SAYS: We wanted to make Lauren’s hair vibrant but easy to look after as she has three children, very thick hair and little spare time. Too much orange will make her skin look pallid, so we used a blend of copper mahogany which gives a soft, dark ginger. WHAT DOES LAUREN THINK? I love the final look. It’s far less bright than I imagined and it suits me; a sort of chocolate ginger. Ian was relieved it wasn’t as ginger as he expected — he thought it was really pretty. I’ve been throwing myself out there with my social media and even applying for extra work. I’m definitely keeping it this colour.
