+ FRIENDS of the recently resigned Foreign Aid minister Priti Patel say she is ‘ livid’ that details of her secret meetings in Israel were leaked to damage her and that she will ‘go off like a shotgun’ to damage the PM over Brexit.

Let’s not forget that this self- serving little madam resigned from her key job as Conservative leader William Hague’s fixer just months before the 2001 election to take a job in the private sector.

She didn’t want to go down with the ship, so she said: ‘ I’m looking after myself.’

+ DELIGHTED to hear that the magnificent Penny Mordaunt is to replace Patel. Having known Penny for decades, I can say she is a decent, hard-working, instinctive Conservative with a solid background defending the Forces. She’s also utterly gorgeous. One to watch.
