They mean the world to me . . .

IT’S my birthday tomorrow and sadly I won’t be celebrating it with my Mum and Dad. With advanced Alzheimer’s, Mum is now in a care home. In the last conversation we had, she told me I had lovely eyes and that I reminded her of her daughter.

Last night my Dad, 91, who has pneumonia, was taken into hospital in Australia. Like so many people, I live miles from the people I love, and I’d just like to say thank you to them.
