AFTER he is framed for stealing the pop-up book, Paddington is sentenced to a spell in jail — and finds himself with a bunch of tough criminals ruled by hardman chef, Knuckles McGinty, played by Irish actor Brendan Gleeson.

In typical Paddington fashion, he causes problems when he accidentally dyes the prison uniforms a fetching shade of pink — thanks to a red sock in the wash. And when the new inmate dares to complain about the food, he is nearly made into bear pie — but manages to save himself in time by stuffing McGinty’s mouth with a marmalade sandwich.
