Victory over Libor bill

tP icap has won a battle with Brussels over a £13.2m fine for rigging Libor rates. the broker was fined by the european Commission in 2015 for manipulating Japanese yen lending rates along- side several banks. icap denied any wrongdoing and challenged the ruling in the european courts, and judges found partially in its favour yesterday, meaning the fine is likely to be reduced.
