n The headline to an article on 25 September, which reported the high level of complaints registered by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR), referred to Virgin Trains as ‘shambolic’. We accept that the ORR data did not justify this description and apologise for any misun- derstanding. Virgin Trains has also asked us to make clear that it received the highest level of customer praise of any train operator and that, according to Transport Focus, it has the joint highest customer satisfaction ratings of any franchised long distance rail operator in the UK.
