THE scale of this HollywoodC­hinese co-production is awesome, but it has the feel of a folly. Matt Damon (pictured) gets caught up in an epic battle against flesh-eating beasties on China’s Great Wall.

SUPERHERO ACTION The Punisher, Netflix

PROVING that you don’t need a lot of dialogue to portray an interestin­g character, The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal plays the terse antihero in this latest series set in the Marvel universe. On one level, it’s a grim show — a bloody, bruising settling of scores — but there are glimpses of humour, such as when a waitress thinks that the grief-stricken Marine-turned-vigilante is a hipster.

FAR NORTH Arctic Waters, 9pm, Quest

THE remote Norwegian fishing village of Veidnes has a population of just 45. Fisherman Svenne recalls it being a ‘bustling port’ when he was a child, and he wants to return it to its former greatness. This new series follows his ambitious project.

WESTERN JUSTICE Longmire, 9pm, 5 USA

IN THE final episode of the fifth and penultimat­e series, Crane lets it slip to Walt that the prosecutio­n in his civil case is withholdin­g damning evidence from the FBI. Meanwhile, Henry gives a ride home to a presumably drunk woman, but ends up falling into Malachi’s trap.

THE untold story of the legendary Los Angeles rock venue Whisky A Go Go, which opened its doors in 1964. It features interviews with longtime owner Mario Maglieri, plus classic archive performanc­es from the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.
