Ripper treated for chest pain
The Yorkshire Ripper has reportedly been taken to his prison hospital with heart trouble. Peter Sutcliffe, right, is said to have suffered chest pains and shortness of breath. The 71-yearold, who murdered 13 women between 1975 and 1980, is at Frankland prison near Durham. he had spent 32 years at Broadmoor psychiatric hospital but was transferred after a tribunal ruled his paranoid schizophrenia had been sufficiently treated. earlier this year the killer had laser treatment to save the sight in his right eye. he was blinded in his left eye in an attack in 1997.
hMP Frankland is also home to Soham child murderer Ian huntley and serial killer Levi Bellfield.
