TRENCH COATS: THE RULES

SPEND as much as you can because, trust us, you’ll be wearing the coat for decades.

GO FOR an oversized look. If it’s too fitted it won’t work with warm layers underneath.

DON’T worry if you’re on the short side. Trench coats look great hitting the knee or beyond.

MAKE sure the belt fits comfortably with and without bulky clothes layered underneath.
