MURDER IN THE LIBRARY.

-

It’s 1957. Inspector Alan Morris and Constable Tommy Briggs are investigating the murder of explorer, Sir Arthur Dingwall-Main. He died in his library after eating a cake laced with cyanide. There are five suspects: his faithless wife OLIVIA, her lover CLAUDE and fellow explorer ROLAND. Also in the frame are chauffeur HAROLD and housekeeper SANDRA. Sir Arthur was clutching six scraps of paper torn from an almanac of the flags of the world. Each piece of paper shows a different flag. On Saturday, Inspector Morris cracked the case, telling PC Briggs, ‘when it comes to murder, the devil is in the detail. Do I have to spell it out for you?’
