Daily Mail

But he chose us to launch book

-

RICHARD Wilson, the founder of Stop Funding Hate, may campaign against the Daily Mail – but he nevertheless chose this newspaper to publicise his own book.

In 2006, the Mail ran a long extract of the work, about his sister’s tragic murder in a massacre in Burundi in East Africa six years earlier.

The story ran over three pages under Mr Wilson’s name and picture, alongside details of where readers could buy a discounted copy. His online accounts reveal that he is a vehement Remain supporter and Jeremy Corbyn loyalist. The 42-year-old ‘writer and campaigner’ is one of five directors of Stop Funding Hate – who all appear to espouse far-Left views.

Rosemary Ellum, 31, who fronts the lobby group with Mr Wilson, is a proud vegan feminist who has worked as a marketing executive for charities. The other directors are: Eleanor Thompson, a charity worker; Colin Baines, an ‘investment engagement manager’; and Catherine Taylor, a solicitor.
