Mia 2 star Jeremy Irvine — who plays a young Pierce Brosnan in the sequel — tried to trick co-star Lily James into filming a sex scene with one of the actors. ‘I’ve written some fake re-writes for Lily James and Hugh Skinner, who plays the young Colin Firth,’ he tells me. ‘I wrote them quite a saucy little sex scene and I even got the assistant directors to deliver it to their trailers. Lily’s quite smart, so she figured it out quite quickly, but Hugh took a while before he realised it was a joke.’
