FOOTMARKS
While mopping the porch floor this morning My anger was visibly showing; I seem to spend hours Cleaning footmarks I get From those who are coming and going. On later reflection, I’m lucky That visitors here are so keen; For the thought crossed my mind That despite muddy marks, What’s worse than no footmarks to clean? Sylvia Smith, Walsall, W. Mids.
