SHE said she was going into the I’m A Celebrity jungle to ‘talk to young people about Labour values’.
But yesterday, Kezia Dugdale’s crusade seemed to have been reduced to a stinking mess.
The former Scottish Labour leader was introduced to the ITV show yesterday and was immediately forced to do a revolting challenge.
The 36-year-old MSP had to scramble through tunnels of cockroaches, raw meat and pungent fish guts to win food for her team.
The task – dubbed The Battle of 10 Downing Creek – involved crawling through disgusting chambers, including ones called Sickola Sturgeon and Jeremy Clawbyn.
She was up against radio host and comedian Iain Lee, who beat her through the tunnel of critters to win a luxury camp for his half of the team.
Afterwards Miss Dugdale admitted she was ‘excited to have a wash’. She has faced criticism for joining the show, with fellow Scottish MSP Neil Findlay describing her decision as ‘utterly ludicrous’.
Meanwhile, England footballer - Jamie Vardy has said d he voted for his wife Rebekah h to face an infamous Bushtucker Trial. Mrs Vardy took on the series’s first stomachchurning - eating challenge, , and her husband admitted he e had voted five times for her r to do it.
