Coleen: I feared my marriage to Wayne might really be over

And when she has millions of online e followers, it is there for all to see.
Coleen Rooney lambasted her cheating g husband’s ‘stupid, selfish mistakes’ on n Facebook yesterday, then said she is staying - with him because he is ‘a brilliant dad’.
‘I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left,’ she wrote, but she admitted she had thought her marriage might be over.
Mrs Rooney, 31, told her 2.2million followers: ‘I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can n be at this point.’
Two months ago Rooney, 32, was caught t drink-driving in the car of party girl Laura a Simpson, 29, following a ten-hour drinking g session while his wife was on holiday. She e later claimed she had shared a ‘ kiss and d cuddle’ with the Everton striker.
Mrs Rooney – who is pregnant with their r fourth child – is said to have fled to her r parents’ home soon after his arrest, following a showdown in which she is reported to have screamed: ‘ The world is laughing at me. How could you do this to me while I’m pregnant? How could you be so stupid?’
She refused to comment at the time but broke her silence in a 700word critique of her husband. ‘ I’m not going to list his good qualities as a person as I don’t think he deserves it at this time but one is that he is a brilliant dad,’ she wrote. ‘He’s made silly and selfish mistakes, some he’s learnt from, some obviously not.’
Hours later, she was seen wearing her wedding ring in public for the first time since the incident as she attended a shop opening in Manchester. She admitted it hadn’t ‘felt right’ to wear it following her husband’s indiscretions as ‘I see it as a sign of commitment and I was unsure what was happening’. She added: ‘I don’t always wear my ring... So, if I don’t always have it on, maybe it’s just because am going the gym or haven’t put it on before the school run!!
The pair met at secondary school and began dating at the age of 16, before marrying in 2008. They have sons Kai, eight, Klay, four, and Kit, one, plus the baby due early next year. Mrs Rooney said: ‘A few people are probably thinking I’m stupid for staying in my marriage.
‘I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try and work on. It’s my decision... do I love Wayne... yes I do. If I didn’t then I wouldn’t be trying to make it work. I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don’t want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do.’
Her Facebook post, which follows weeks of speculation about the couple’s future, also says ‘alcohol on a night out is dangerous’ and makes people ‘make stupid mistakes’.
Rooney was banned from driving for two years and sentenced to 100 hours of unpaid work for the drinkdriving offence.
The incident was not Rooney’s first indiscretion. He was accused of sleeping with prostitutes in 2004 and in 2009 – when Mrs Rooney was pregnant with Kai.
