Tech mag buying boost

A STRING of recent magazine acquisitions has helped boost sales at media group Future by more than 40pc.

Future, which is behind titles such as PC Gamer and Total Film, enjoyed strong growth with revenues jumping to £84.4m for the year to September 30, up from £59m a year earlier.

Its magazine division saw revenues rise 43pc to £50.3m after it bought Imagine Publishing, Team Rock and Home Interest.
