ADELE PITCH PERFECT

IT’S not been a typical Gabba pitch and apparently its slowing up is all Adele’s fault. There were 60,000 there to see her perform at the venue and covering the square, and denying it sunlight, has taken a toll. I recall a sluggish pitch at Old Trafford years ago — I think Bruce Springsteen was to blame. Or was it Meat Loaf? My memory fails me.
