Make waffles like a pro
DOMINIC TAYLOR, head chef at London restaurant The Jam Tree, shows us how to make this morning treat... MIX together 250g plain flour, 1 tsp salt, 4 tsp baking powder and 2 tbsp caster sugar. In a separate bowl whisk two eggs then add 355ml warm milk, 75g melted butter and 1tsp vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then pour into a hot waffle maker and cook for about ten minutes, until golden brown. Enjoy with maple syrup. Serves 5.
