DARREN RANDOLPH (Middlesbrough): It had not been a great day for the keeper. Derby’s Matej Vydra put two goals past him and Middlesbrough looked to be dropping out of the play- off places. Still, 2-0 is not an insurmountable scoreline. Step forward Randolph, who essentially sealed the win for Derby by slicing a clearance directly to Vydra. Given the form he is in, the striker did not need a second invitation and slammed it straight past Randolph to condemn Boro to defeat at the Riverside.
