NOEL’S DAY IN COURT TO SEE HIS NEMESIS SWEAT
DEAL Or No Deal star Noel Edmonds joined a packed courtroom to hear former Lloyds chairman Sir Victor Blank describe the takeover of toxic HBOS.
Edmonds, 68, is separately suing Lloyds for up to £300m over the 2007 collapse of his business Unique Group.
He claims the bank deliberately wrecked his company to seize its assets – and that its actions drove him to attempt suicide. The TV personality and gameshow host told the Mail he wanted to see Blank held to account.
Edmonds, pictured yesterday, said: ‘I came not just to hear what he had to say, but also to observe the body language and see a man who is slowly drowning in guilt.’
