TRUMP CONFUSES PM WITH BOGNOR MUM

A MOTHER of three from Bognor Regis was embroiled in the trans-Atlantic row about Donald Trump’s tweets – after he mistook her for the Prime Minister.

The President meant to attack Theresa May after she criticised him for sharing the far-Right videos. He wrote a Twitter message saying ‘don’t focus on me’ and telling her to focus on terrorism instead.

But he accidentally sent it to Theresa May Scrivener, 41, whose username is @theresamay – while the Prime Minister’s is @theresa_may. He later re-sent it to the real PM. Miss Scrivener, pictured, who has just six followers compared to Mrs May’s 429,000, said: ‘He needs to think before he tweets. Our profiles are completely different. She runs the country, I’m a mum from Bognor.’

After Mr Trump’s tweet she said she received ‘huge numbers’ of messages – many of them Americans apologising for their President. She added: ‘It’s amazing to think the world’s most powerful man managed to press the wrong button. I’m just glad he was not contacting me to say he was going to war with North Korea.’
