COMEDY WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
edited by Paul JoynsonHicks and Tom Sullam (Blink Publishing, £9.99) THESE photos, including one of an inquisitive cheetah (left) will certainly raise some hearty snorts of amusement. The essential gag seems to be, the more unintentionally human the animal looks, the funnier it is, so the hamster that appears to be conducting an orchestra may just be holding up a blade of grass after all. But there are some delightful photos here. I particularly liked the one of spotted seals lying on a shore and appearing to have a good laugh. Do seals actually laugh? I hope so, I really do.
