The rainbow that lasted nine hours

IT’S way up high where bluebirds fly but this glorious rainbow in Taiwan has broken a few hearts in Sheffield.

For the strikingly beautiful display spanning the city of Taipei lasted three hours longer than the previous record set in South Yorkshire 23 years ago.

It appeared at around 7.15am on Thursday and was visible for almost nine hours until 4pm. That breaks the record set in Sheffield on March 14, 1994. That one was said to have lasted from 9am to 3pm.
