3. LIKE LAGERFELD, I WANT TO SPARKLE

HALLELUJAH — my Argos tree is up. Although it is pre-lit with 200 nicely spaced lights, I want the opulent Karl Lagerfeld look. This means baubles and trims. Rachel Patey advises placing the larger ones at the top, spacing out evenly, gradually reducing the size from top to bottom as you go, and not letting them hang too far from the branches. I have bought different-sized baubles for £12 for a pack of 60 (homebase.co.uk).
