However, yesterday, food critic William Sitwell, 48, was all sweetness and light as he tied the knot with his second wife Emily Lopes at Chelsea Register Office.

William, great-nephew of the avant garde poet Dame Edith Sitwell, has two children by first wife Laura McCorquodale. Sports PR Emily, 30, who wore a Fiona Claire dress, is daughter of the late Devonshire racehorse breeder the 3rd Lord Roborough and was once tipped as an ideal partner for Prince Harry.
