Pallet-maker in crisis

-

SHARES crashed in troubled pallet maker RM2 International as it said it had only enough cash to keep going for two months.

The Luxembourg-based firm said it was still in talks with potential lenders after warning in July it may not be able to pay its bills.

It sent shares down 16pc, or 0.5p, to 2.62p at the close.

Backed by fund manager Neil Woodford, RM2 International joined the junior stock market AIM in January 2014.

Former Marks and Spencer chairman Lord Stuart Rose is a non-executive director, alongside ex Diageo chief executive Paul Walsh.

Bosses said yesterday the company expected to have around £4.4m cash at the end of November.
