HENRY BLOFELD (pictured) was a rising star in the world of cricket when he was knocked down by a bus, spending 28 days in a coma. He recovered, but — because of the accident — his sporting career went into a bit of a decline. He dabbled around a bit, eventually settling in at the crease to write about cricket and become a star of the commentary box. Henry, who announced his retirement this year, begins a week-long reading from his autobiography OVER AND OUT (RADIO 4, 9.45AM (FM), 12.30AM).
