NOT very impressed with Steve Smith (left) telling Craig Overton that he was too slow out in the middle. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing amiss with a few verbals, and if it’s someone like Jimmy Anderson he’s fair game. But for an Australian skipper to say that to a young lad on his Ashes debut lacked class, especially as Overton did OK.
