No rush for Sterling

RAHEEM STERLING won’t make a decision on a potential new Manchester city deal until after the World cup.

city’s top scorer wants to focus purely on his football.

Table-toppers city are favourites to win the Premier League, which would be sterling’s first title — and england kick off in russia on June 18.

sterling, 22, is entering the final two years of the £180,000-aweek deal he signed when he joined from Liverpool in a £49million move in 2015.

It is understood that city are yet to open contract talks but are likely to attempt to start negotiatio­ns before the summer, given sterling’s fine form.
