Early closing for Ibiza clubs
IBIZA nightclubs are to be forced to shut at 3am – dashing British holidaymakers’ hopes of partying until dawn.
Until now, revellers in San Antonio have been able to stay in nightclubs until 5am in summer and 6am in winter.
The new rules are part of a crackdown on noise on the Spanish island.
Mayor Josep Tur says authorities want to improve the resort’s image, which has been ‘devalued’ by antics in the main bars in the West End. The move is set to be approved later this month and endorsed in February, coming into effect six months later.
