EVERYONE loves to watch telly at Christmas, but with a set like this there’s plenty to gawp at before you’ve even switched it on. Created by British designer Stuart Hughes, the 55in screen is mounted within two frames. One is made from 22-carat gold encrusted with 48 diamonds and a smattering of topaz and aventurine (green quartz). Then, just in case that isn’t blingy enough, there’s a second frame around the screen made of alligator skin. It all comes mounted on a solid gold stand. How tasteful!
