Furious Conte: I’m sick of the negativity

ANTONIO CONTE slammed ‘bull****’ negativity surrounding Chelsea’s season but admitted he is too honest. Conte said the title race was over for his side after their 1-0 defeat to West Ham last weekend, and the Italian has been astonished by the criticism his side have faced. ‘It is very difficult to think that you can fight for the title when you have a team like City,’ Conte said. ‘The people, they think negative, negative. Bull****, bull****. You must be realistic. I prefer to tell the truth rather than a good lie. Sometimes I can be too honest. When do you get a team winning 15 of 16 games?’ Conte also heralded Tiemoue Bakayoko — who was subbed off in the loss to West Ham but scored the opener in last night’s win. ‘Maybe tonight I saw the best performance from Baka,’ Conte added. ‘He’s showing me that he’s got the desire to improve.’
