OZIL WANTS REUNION WITH OLD MENTOR MOURINHO

-

MESUT OZIL favours a move to Manchester United over Barcelona should he leave Arsenal in the coming months. Arsene Wenger confirmed this week that the Gunners are still negotiating with Ozil, whose contract runs out at the end of the season. He has already rejected a new deal worth £235,000 a week and has made it plain to friends he is eyeing a switch to United. Ozil wants closer to £300,000 and Jose Mourinho has been watching his situation closely. Ozil played under Mourinho at Real Madrid and is keen on a reunion. For his part, Mourinho is eager to add some attacking flair to his squad. GareTh BaLe scored with his first touch to give real Madrid a 2-1 victory over al Jazira and a place in the final of the fifa Club World Cup. The forward netted moments after coming on as an 81st minute substitute in abu dhabi to set up a clash with Brazil’s Gremio on Saturday. The strike saved real’s blushes after they fell behind to the team from the United arab emirates, who could have gone 2-0 up but had a goal chalked off for offside after a video referral. Cristiano ronaldo hit back before the strike by Bale (above, right), who said: ‘When you come on you want to make an impact. it’s great to make the final.’
