Golden girl Victoria takes a bow (tie)

OLYMPIC cycling whizz Victoria Pendleton admitted she was ‘probably having a midlife crisis’ when she agreed to climb Everest with Ben Fogle next May.

Thankfully, the crisis was put on hold this week as she attended a party in London looking stylish and relaxed. The double-gold winner displayed her androgynous style in a Joshua Kane ensemble comprising a £1,450 two-piece suit, a £410 waistcoat, a £390 shirt and a £120 bow tie.

Shedding light on her penchant for tomboy garb, Pendleton said recently: ‘As a cyclist, I was always being told to be more like the men.’ Let’s hope this is of reassurance to Fogle’s wife Marina.
