NO PLAN TO SELL HOMES

-

THE US tycoon who could take over Four Seasons is believed to want to keep hold of the chain, the Mail understands.

H/2 Capital Partners owner Spencer Haber, 49, an ex-Lehman Brothers banker, has about £2.8bn of investments in US healthcare, including care homes, and it is understood that none have foreclosed or gone bankrupt.

He is believed to be saying in private that he has no plans to sell parts of Four Seasons, having said publicly he wants to keep it going on a strong financial footing. Haber is said to believe he can turn things around by lowering the debt and investing.
