Victoria star dazzles fans in fiery tartan

AFTER confirming she will reprise her lead role in ITV’s Victoria for its third series next year, it seems Jenna Coleman is making the most of contemporary dress before squeezing back into her period costumes.

The Lancashire-born brunette, 31, showed off her vibrant style at a party in New York this week in a £1,895 Burberry red tartan laminated trench coat teamed with Burberry tartan cotton high coneheel sandals worth £595.

Perhaps her love of colourful garments runs in the family. ‘Growing up, my grandma lived ten doors away, so I used to nip to her house and play dress-up,’ says Jenna.

‘Her wardrobe has lots of chunky necklaces and dresses in bright patterns.’

Also confirmed to return to the show next year is Jenna’s boyfriend Tom Hughes, who plays her on-screen husband Prince Albert.

The couple, who struck up a passionate romance after they started filming together, have recently bought a house in North London.
