M&S CUCUMBER:

You’ll struggle to find a cucumber that isn’t shrink-wrapped in plastic. It is rarely recyclable. M&S says it doubles the life of the product, and so helps reduce food waste. Maybe. But whenever I look in the bottom of the fridge there’s always a half-eaten shrivelled cucumber rotting in its bag — both of which end up in the bin.
