Gorka in ‘romance with blonde’ – who isn’t Gemma!
HE was thought to have struck up a behind-the-scenes romance with Strictly finalist Gemma Atkinson.
But it has now been rumoured that professional dancer Gorka Marquez has been ‘secretly dating’ a glamorous personal trainer.
According to reports, the 27-yearold Latin champion – who regularly posts photos on social media of his gym-honed physique – has grown close to London-based trainer Georgie Harris. He recently described her as ‘gorgeous’ in a gushing post about a joint workout online, and they have apparently spent evenings together at the cinema and having dinner.
But it remains to be seen where Emmerdale actress Miss Atkinson, 33, fits into the picture. She and Marquez, who was Alexandra Burke’s dance partner in this series, reportedly became intimate during Strictly rehearsals. But while Miss Atkinson took in the new Jumanji film at the cinema eight days ago, the Spaniard was said to be enjoying the company of Georgia.
Miss Harris, 23, has also written about Marquez on social media, writing after he attended the gym where she works: ‘Thank you so much to @ gorka_marquez for coming down to the studio yesterday & taking part in our evening strength class.
‘Keep an eye out for an epic video! Next time we train together… even if I did enjoy shouting at you.’
A source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Gorka goes to the gym a lot, but he’s been heading to Georgie’s gym more and more since they started hooking up and they spend a lot of time together. He never seems to talk about Gemma though, and just flirts so obviously with Georgie. They even film each other’s workouts to post on social media with gushing messages.’
The website for Un1t Gyms, where Miss Harris works, describes her as ‘a fully qualified personal trainer who has always had a passion for fitness and sports’.
In her online biography, she adds: ‘My aim is to inspire people to become fitter, healthier and happier, with workouts that are fun and effective. I don’t believe in obsessing over something to the point where you make unwanted sacrifices.’
Representatives for Marquez had last night not responded to requests for comment.
