Help to buy blow
FAMILIES are being priced out of using the Government’s Help to Buy scheme in a quarter of London boroughs. The scheme offers buyers loans of up to 40 pc on new homes worth up to £600,000.
However, there are no homes available below this threshold in one in four boroughs in the Capital, including in Camden, Hackney, Islington, Tower Hamlets and Hammersmith & Fulham, according to London estate agent James Pendleton.
