‘EVER SINCE I was a little girl, I’ve adored t trees.’ She’s famous as o one of our best-loved a actors, but it’s less widely known that Judi Dench (pictured) has a lifelong passion for trees, believing there is ‘much more to these beautiful, magical beings’ than we realise. ‘I think of my trees as part of my extended family.’ Filmed over the course of a year, this enchanting and poignant documentary sees Judi exploring the world of trees, charting the effect of the changing seasons on the woodland garden she created with her late husband. It’s there that she plants trees to remember the people she has loved who have died.
